The short version
This website sets no non-essential cookies. No advertising cookies, no social media pixels, no cross-site tracking, no profiling. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website can store on your device. They are commonly used to remember preferences, keep you signed in, or — most often — to track you across sites for advertising. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and tracking pixels. Where this policy says “cookies” it means all of them.
2. What this website uses
Strictly necessary only. These are exempt from consent requirements under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations because the site cannot work securely without them:
- Security and delivery — our hosting provider may set a short-lived cookie to route your request correctly, balance load, and protect the site from abuse and denial of service.
When you submit the launch-list form, your email address is sent to our server and stored in our database. That is not a cookie — it is described in our Privacy Policy, and we delete it once the launch email has been sent, or sooner on request.
3. What we don't use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn or other social tracking pixels.
- No cross-site or cross-device tracking identifiers.
- No profiling, and no selling of any data derived from your visit.
4. Analytics
We use privacy-preserving, aggregate analytics to count page views and understand which pages are useful. It is cookieless, does not store an identifier on your device, does not follow you across websites, and does not build a profile of you. Because it collects no personal data on your device, no consent banner is required — but if you would prefer not to be counted at all, any standard content blocker or your browser's “Do Not Track” setting will exclude you.
5. The mobile app
The Fempower app contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. It does not use the iOS advertising identifier (IDFA) or the Android advertising ID, and it will not ask you to allow tracking, because it does not do any. It stores a secure session token on your device so you stay signed in, and — if you allow notifications — a push token so we can send the reminders you asked for.
6. Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because this site uses only strictly necessary cookies, blocking them may stop parts of the site working, but you will not lose any personalised experience — there isn't one to lose.
7. Changes to this policy
If we ever introduce a non-essential cookie, we will add a proper consent banner and update this page before it is set — not afterwards. Questions: privacy@fempower.ai.
